BANDED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Decided to sleep in to day and try a evening hunt at a new spot. We launched the boat and jumped up a few ducks loafing on the river, so we thought it might be a decent day. After busting a small hole in the ice and set the decoys, the ducks that we jumped up off the river wer back and flying around the area. Allthough we couldn't get any mallards to commit we did take two wood ducks. One drake and one hen. You might say what was so special about that, well it just so hapens that the hen was BANDED.........THATS RIGHT.............BANDED. It was my hunting partners first band and the first one I ever seen in person. So next time sleep in, you never know what may be lurking around at the close of the day. As for tomarrow I think I'm gonna try the first diver hunt of the year on for size and see if I can scratch out some Goldeneys. Until next time stay safe, have fun and keep it in the kill zone
