A new season is upon us

Well here it is August already. And while I have had fun fishing this spring and summer, I'm ready to hunt. Already squirrel season is open as of August 1st. For me its still to hot to chase em around. Maybe a couple of weeks before bow season I'll get me a few tree rats. As for water fowl, teal season will be another 16 days this year. It starts September 9th. And the regular duck season will be a full 60 days this year again. All though I must stress that you take from mother nature only what you and you're family can use. I love to hunt those web footed fowl, but if we don't conserve our natural wildlife we will have none to hunt. So until the teal are laying in the bottom of the boat and plucked for supper, stay safe have fun and keep it in the kill zone
