Season opener.Highs and Lows

Well for us the season started of with a bang. we killed 7 Thursday at Pyramid at an undisclosed location. (hehehehe) 4 Mallards and 3 Canvasbacks. And then on Friday we had our first ever four man limit down at our favorite hole on the Big Muddy. 10 mallards 2 wood ducks and 12 gadwalls. Want to know where. HAHAHA not for a million dollars. And then it got ugly from there. I went on a hunt with a member of the duckhunter.net Illinois gang. We had a good time but the birds didn't fly. And the robo fell in the water, went up river to explore and the motor wouldn't start, thank god we had a trolling motor. And then the worst of all I lost (or someone stole) my wallet. Looked everywhere and no luck. So I couldn't go Sunday and the gang was let down because I had the robos and they only killed 1 mallards. Sorry guys, I hope to be ready for next weekend. Until then the duck count remains at 32, and as always stay safe ,have fun and keep it in the kill zone.
