September Squrriles

Well I don't know about you all but as soon as the weather starts to cool IM gona be chasing those bushy tailed critters. I think its just too hot around August to be out with the skeeters, that's why ill wait until September even all they way to early November. Here's A little tip for you squirrel hunters out there. Look for the with the most nut crop, a lot of Oaks and hickories barley made any fruit. If you can find a mast with a lot of nuts sit there, it wont be long they know where the bests mast are. Oh, one more thing the squirrels wer relay on the hickories. Stay still, stay cool and think of them as deer to hone in on you're stalking skills. If you need a good place to hunt try the Ryder bottoms around Rend Lake or the Oakwood bottoms south of Murphysboro .
