Time for some TEAL ???????

Wow what a saturday this was. Well it didn't look like it was going to be. Very few birds in the air. To much low laying clouds, fog and mist for the birds to get up early. I think we only had three ducks by 9:30. Mallards wer being very weary. But when the sun came up a little all hell broke lose. The teal were buzzing everywhere. And the mallards finaly woke up. And a lone pintail came droping out of the mist. whe n it was all said and done the three of us killed 11 Grean Wing Teal, 3 Mallards, 2 Ringbills, 1 Gadwall and 1 Pintail. A three man limmit! We learned a couple of vauable lessons. 1 remember where you put youre calls. 2 They fly later when the can't see well. 3 Mallards are getting call shy and spinner shy. 4 and I can't judge distance anymore. Until my next post Staye safe, have fun and keep it in the kill zone
